YETI FILMS is a film production company founded by director Piotr Mularuk. Its main goal is to deliver quality feature films for the world markets, focusing on international co-productions.

Yeti Films first film was Wholetrain, a feature debut by a German director Florian Gaag. The premiere of Wholetrain took place during the Berlinale festival in 2006 (Dialogues en Perspective, special mention). Recently, it has been awarded with Adolfe Grimme Preis in the Best Drama category.

Yeti Films' next European co-production was Peter Greenaway’s Nightwatching (UK, Poland, Canada and Netherlands co-production, 2006/2007), which was almost entirely shot in Poland. The film had its premiere in competition at the Venice Film Festival in 2007.

In 2008 our company co-produced Within the Whirlwind (Germany, Poland, France and Belgium co-production) based on memoirs of Eugenia Ginzburg; starring Emily Watson and directed by Marleen Gorris (Oscar Winner for Antonia’s Line, 1995).

Another picture completed in 2008 is a feature length creative documentary A Ghetto Named Baluty, written and directed by Pavel Štingl, created in co-production with a Czech company K2.

In 2013 the company finalized a Polish-German-Czech co-production Yuma, directed by Piotr Mularuk; developed with financial support of the MEDIA programme. The film had its premiere at the 2012 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
